Our take
Hôtel Kairouan is a small, well-rated address in Fes, with an 8.6 from 9 reviews, and its main asset is location: about eight minutes on foot from Fes Railway Station and a short distance from the Royal Palace. Every room has a private terrace and air-conditioning, and room service fills the gap left by the lack of a restaurant. I would book it for a short stay arriving by train.
- Consider using the paid airport shuttle for a hassle-free transfer to and from Fès–Saïs Airport.
- Take advantage of the private terrace in your room for a quiet moment with a drink or a book.
- Walk to Fes Railway Station for easy access to other parts of the city or for onward travel.
