Marina Bay City Center
Beachfront hotel with pool, spa, and traditional Moroccan dining
About this stay
Staying at the Marina Bay City Center places you right on the beach in Tangier, with the added benefit of an outdoor swimming pool for a refreshing dip. The hotel's spa and hammam offer a chance to unwind after a day of exploring. Evenings can be spent enjoying traditional Moroccan dishes or international specialties at the restaurant, followed by a cocktail in the lounge bar. The location is ideal for those who want to combine beach relaxation with easy access to the city's attractions, as central Tangier and several museums are just a short walk away.

Our take
Marina Bay City Center earns its place through location: it stands on the Tangier beachfront while staying close to the city centre. The outdoor pool, the spa with a hammam and a restaurant serving traditional Moroccan and international dishes cover most needs, and the lounge bar suits an evening drink. Note that free Wi-Fi is only offered in public areas. My advice: book it if the beach comes first and a guest score of 9.1 matters to you.
- Take advantage of the beachfront location for morning walks along the shore.
- Explore the nearby Forbes Museum and Museum of Moroccan Arts, both just a short stroll away.
- Enjoy a traditional Moroccan meal at the hotel's restaurant for an authentic taste of local cuisine.

Why guests love itI would recommend Marina Bay City Center to families who want the sea on their doorstep in Tangier. The hotel sits right on the beachfront, so children can go from the room to the sand without a long walk, and the outdoor pool is there when the sea is too rough. Parents can book time in the spa and hammam, and the restaurant serves both Moroccan and international dishes. A guest score of 9.1 from more than 3,600 reviews is reassuring.
