Our take
I recommend Hotel Transatlantique to travellers who want space, a pool and Medina views in Meknès. The park setting, outdoor pool and tennis court make it relaxed for families, rooms are air-conditioned with balconies, and two restaurants, a poolside bar and several lounges give plenty of choice. It sits in the north of the city, so you will travel to reach the sights. Guests rate it 7.8 across 179 reviews, which I read as comfortable and characterful rather than polished.
- Take advantage of the outdoor pool and tennis court, especially during warmer months.
- Explore the hotel's park and enjoy the views of the Medina from the grounds.
- Try both the international and Moroccan restaurants for a varied dining experience.
