Our take
Riad Sumud is an adults-only riad in central Marrakech with a rooftop pool, a sun terrace, a restaurant and air-conditioned rooms overlooking the pool. A guest score of 9.7 from 79 reviews is outstanding. I would book it for couples and friends who want a calm riad with a place to swim on the roof. Families with children must look elsewhere, since they are not accepted here.
- Make sure to spend some time on the rooftop for a swim and to enjoy the city views
- Take advantage of the central location to explore the Medina on foot
- Consider dining at the riad's restaurant for a convenient and relaxed meal
Why we love it
- Adults-only peaceful atmosphere
- Rooftop swimming pool and sun terrace
- Central city-centre location
- Air-conditioned rooms with pool views
Why guests love itI would not book Riad Sumud for a family trip: it is an adults-only riad, so children are not accepted. For parents travelling without children, it makes sense, with a rooftop swimming pool, a sun terrace and an on-site restaurant in central Marrakech. Rooms are air-conditioned with pool views, private bathrooms and complimentary toiletries, and the 24-hour front desk helps with late arrivals. A guest score of 9.7 from 79 reviews says the calm adult setting is well run.
