Our take

I recommend Résidence La Place to travellers who want a practical self-catering base in Laayoune. Units have a kitchenette, a balcony, air conditioning and a private bathroom, the 24-hour front desk, lounge and free WiFi cover everyday needs, and spa facilities are listed among the highlights. Hassan I Airport is only 1 km away. Guests rate it 7.5 across 90 reviews, which I read as decent rather than special value.

  • Take advantage of the kitchenette to prepare some meals and enjoy them on your private balcony.
  • Explore the spa facilities for a relaxing break after a day of sightseeing.
  • If you're arriving by air, the short distance from Hassan I Airport makes for a very quick transfer.
