DAR AL MIRAAJ
A perfectly rated riad near the gardens
Dar Al Miraaj carries a perfect guest-review score in a modest three-star shell, which says more about the staff and the courtyard's character than any star rating could. The seven-minute walk to Andalusian Gardens gives this riad a greener neighbour than most of the destination's more central stays, and the two-minute walk to Restaurant Riad Kalaa covers dinner easily most nights. Parking is included free, a detail that separates it from several pricier riads nearby, and the eight-minute taxi ride to Gare Rabat Ville keeps onward rail travel simple for a longer Moroccan itinerary beyond Ameur, with the same central old-town position as the destination's pricier, more amenity-heavy riads nearby.
- Perfect rating
- Free parking
- Near the gardens
- Walk to Andalusian Gardens in the late afternoon, when the light softens and the paths empty out a little
- Book ahead given the perfect guest rating, since rooms at this consistency level fill quickly
- Take advantage of the free parking if arriving by car rather than relying on taxis throughout
